This Waffle House location was great. The staff was very friendly and the food was delicious and, of course, inexpensive!

Great service from the moment we walked in to the moment we left. Food is always priced low and good portions for what you pay. They greet you when you walk in and say goodbye when you leave. If I had to compare it to another place their service is like chick-Fil-A. Real good!

I love this place. It's always open. The servers are salt of the earth and always super friendly. The food is always hot and made to order. The waffles rock...and their new waffle irons actually emboss the name Waffle House right in the waffle. I thinks it makes them taste even better. Make sure you ask for the "dark" coffee blend...it's really good. Weekends here are consistently busy, but people move in and out pretty quickly. My only negative comment....the floor was pretty dirty when we were there today. Somewhat of a turn off.

It's your typical waffle house but this particular location has really friendly staff, fresh coffee and hot food. Pretty busy location but always well taken care of and we are in and out quickly.

Since re-opening, this place has been fantastic! It shows, too, they stay busy closer to weekend and the service hasn't skipped a beat. If you're familiar with their menu then expect it to your liking. Great little location! Came back a second time! Busier this time tho, almost packed luckily we arrived about 20 minutes before it was standing room only. Breakfast was perfect, bacon crispy not burnt! Pecan waffles are awesome! Fantastic start I the weekend!

WORST WAFFLE HOUSE I HAVE EVER BEEN TO IN MY ENTIRE LIFE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I went to this Waffle house & ordered a waffle & ---PERSONALLY OBSERVED --- the waitress -- BARBARA -- who took our order pour the waffle into the waffle maker. After, when the the buzzer went off --- WITHOUT ANY GLOVES ON --- opened up the waffle maker & removed the waffle from the waffle maker with her bear hands & used her DIRTY long finger nails to get a grip on the waffle. After, she put it on the plate & it was breakfast as usual at waffle house in Saint Augustine.... I could not believe what was happening before my eyes!!!!!!!!!!.... Then as if that wasn't bad enough, I thought to myself maybe that was just one bad employee who was dirty & failed to follow protocol, another female employee -- CHRISTINE -- followed the same technique & removed another customers waffle with no gloves on! I observed these two older women take orders, make a trip to turn waffles, wipe down tables with the same dirty washcloth & pour coffee, with their bare hands & handle money all in one continuous transaction.... SO BEWARE!!!!!!! After, I called their corporate office & complained & corporate failed to follow up with my complaint.... Just shows how trashy waffle houses can get! I WILL NEVER RETURN TO WAFFLE HOUSE --- MOST ESPECIALLY THIS ONE --- IN MY ENTIRE LIFETIME!

Really good breakfast and super nice people. Hashbrowns were stealable! Kids LOVED the waffles, and I have one kid that doesn't eat much of anything! Staff was really friendly. First time for my kids to have eaten at a Waffle House and I had to almost beg my husband to let us stop instead of just another meal in the car.

Food good. Temp at least 65 or colder. Can't believe employees can't do anything about it

Waffle house is known for its...well, charm and being the butt of numerous southern 'social station' jokes. I don't care what others perceptions may be of this location and those who frequent Waffle House; I really dig this tiny little spot! I love to have midnight breakfast at this compact eatery right off of I95! The food is inexpensive, and I always like to share with those who have never been, that you can always get 'dinner and a show' here. Since the grill is literally just a few feet away from each patron, one is always able to see their food being cooked and due to this proximity, also hear by proxy the daily gossip and drama from each of the chatty servers who are stationed in your immediate area as well. This is my favorite part of the Waffle House experience actually! The food here is definitely diner, greasy spoon fare and perfect after frolicking at the beach bar scene or for a quick, early morning breakfast prior to heading out for the day. I actually had the best veggie omelet at this location as well. The omelet was so fluffy and tasty that I asked the cook what was his secret...He actually shared this information with me as if I was actually paying attention when he cooked this delight I would have seen what he had done. (No secrets at Waffle House!) He put the eggs in a blender prior to cooking my omelet to give it that super light consistency! I will definitely be trying this at home! A typical ticket for two would be under $20.00!

We tried to stop in on October 21st 2013 and this location was closed for remodeling. Just a heads up.

It's Waffle House, a bit greasy, but still better than the fare down the road. Could use some new plates and silverware but at least it's a breakfast you know, it's familiar, good, yet you regret it afterwards. It's Waffle House.

Waffle house, need I say more. This one was good. Nothing that sets it apart from any other WH. Nothing bad just saying.
